Drew University’s First-Generation College Student Campaign
As the Social Media Manager for the First-Generation College Student Affinity Group, I created a week-long campaign dedicated to increasing the visibility of students who were the first in their families to attend college. Through designing eye-catching infographics that acknowledged the University’s home colors, and well as, composing copy that both informed and interacted with the student body, the Instagram account successfully gained 400 followers in a week. The week-long digital campaign was the main factor in the faculty’s decision to turn the First-Generation community into a legitimate on-campus club.
